Professor of Physics
Nonlinear Optics and Photonics, Spatial Solitons and Waveguides, Surface and Defect States, Optical Trapping and Manipulation, Photorefractive Materials,
Pattern Formation and Spatiotemporal Chaos.
Currently, there are several projects carried on in our Optics Research Lab , including photonic structures and bandgap guidance, optical rotating and accelerating beams, modulation instability of incoherent waves, dynamics of high-order optical vortices, discrete and gap solitons.
