Minutes from the March 28, 2003 PAC meeting

Announcements

• Jay – house party at 1425 Alabama St., Apt. A. He’s spinning. The entrance is $5. The party is a fundraiser for a movie that they’re making.
• Mike Wong – The SF Lesbian and Gay Freedom Band are having their 25th anniversary concert, at Everett Middle School on April 26th. He is in the band and will soon send out an email with details.

Future Officers
Email afuller@stars.sfsu.edu for nominations. There will be another email for voting. (Current nominations: Nate for President, Howard for VP. We need lots more nominations!)

This is the current list of officers and the current jobs:

• President - Liason to faculty, outreach, runs and calls meetings, puts out fliers
• VP - Lab manuals (making copies), organizing sales, charity
• Treasurer – Keep track of the finances, deposits funds, in charge of keeping us on budget
• Event Coordinator – Plans, coordinates events
• Secretary – Meeting notes, updates email list, keeps tabs on the website

Graduation party – there will be an update via email soon

Events, participation – we need to buy tickets ahead of time, so if you sign up, PLEASE attend

Printer update – the printer cartridge has been ordered (some weeks ago), but it has not yet come into the bookstore. Brent is following up on that.

PAC logo update – t-shirts, boxers, letterheads, stickers 12-6 voted for the logo, which is blue with a stylized picture of Saturn. Go to the PAC room to see it.

H-bar volunteer – we need to have someone go to Rainbow

PAC-room upgrades – larger/another fridge, air-popcorn popper, Griffiths ‘Intro to Quantum’ w/ a check-out, Dr. Lea will donate a Theoretical Physics book when it gets published, Feynman lectures on CDs, Feynman lectures (hardcopy)
