Hi I'm Michael James Myers. This is my home page, which at this point serves little purpose but may someday evolve into a massive ethernet clogging piece of tripe as is so common these days on the web.
School:
I am an undergrad at San Francisco State University, majoring in Physics and Computer Science(?). This is now my last real semester. I should graduate at the end of the summer, after taking some final G.E. stuff
Here's my Spring Schedule:
- Electrodynamics (Graduate)
- Quantum Mechanics II
- Project Lab
- Special Study in Physics
Work:
I started working at the SFSU Thin Film lab about 1.5 years ago ( Hence the Special Study class.) We are building superconducting dark matter detectors. The wafer fabrication process is very similar to that in the semiconductor industry. Hopefully someday we'll have a web page so I can put a link to it here.
Personal:
I live in San Francisco, about a mile away from SFSU. If you know the area, I live right off of Ocean. I really enjoy living here, but unfortunately my roomates will likely want to move when our lease is up in January. Then Ill have to start looking again.
This is my girlfriend, Gina, when we were in Monterey last summer.
Weve been going out for over THREE years now. She's a civil engineering grad student at Stanford.
This is me and my niece at Disneyland.
I dont have any other pictures yet, but I have a mother, father, an older brother and an older sister (That's her daughter)
Hobbies:
I have a few hobbies, but I don't have nearly enough time to pursue all of my interests. I like to play the guitar. I used to be fairly serious about classical guitar and was considering music as a major or minor. I like to snowboard, but I was only able to go once last year. Now that my mom has moved to Portland, I'm hoping to be able to go snowboarding at Mt. Hood this winter. I'm also interested in electronics, electronic music, computers, etc.
