Ok here's all my live rock pieces I got, I originally threw them in the tank, and the ammonia spiked from .5 to 8+ in under 2 hours, I decided to remove them and use an old toothbrush to scrape off anything that is loose or looks dead, and take off any sponge since they die with contact with air (wussies). Now the fact that the rocks still are wet, with the flash of the camera makes them look a lot more slimy than they really are, anyone who's seen coraline algae knows its not slimy, and well thats what these pictures show. The size chart goes roughly as follows
tiny < 3",
small 3"-6"
medium 6"-9"
large 9"-12"
huge > 12"
some pieces were border line, so I gave them dual size ie med-small.
Here's the first piece, I'm told those are the skeletal remains of a SPS coral that didnt survive the trip *sniffle*,size small
The right side looks alot more purple with
Mmmmmm yummy, size med-small
