90 lbs. Uncured Tonga Kailini (Dr Mac & Son's)

Ok here's all my live rock pieces I got, I originally threw them in the tank, and the ammonia spiked from .5 to 8+ in under 2 hours, I decided to remove them and use an old toothbrush to scrape off anything that is loose or looks dead, and take off any sponge since they die with contact with air (wussies). Now the fact that the rocks still are wet, with the flash of the camera makes them look a lot more slimy than they really are, anyone who's seen coraline algae knows its not slimy, and well thats what these pictures show. The size chart goes roughly as follows

tiny < 3",

small 3"-6"

medium 6"-9"

large 9"-12"

huge > 12"

some pieces were border line, so I gave them dual size ie med-small.

Here's the first piece, I'm told those are the skeletal remains of a SPS coral that didnt survive the trip *sniffle*,size small

The right side looks alot more purple with

Mmmmmm yummy, size med-small

Groovy macros baby, size med-small

*shrug*, size med-small

Baby piece with some nice colors fits right in the palm of my hand, size tiny

Lots of dead algae(I think) on this one, size med-large

Man with the flash on the wet surface this does NOT look pretty, looks pretty without the flash though, size medium

Here's another colorful good sized hunk, size large

Not very interesting colors, but that brain looking thing is kinda neat, similar thing on the other side as well, size med-small

Wow man look at all the colors, size medium

The "Beast" a huge monster of a rock, took two hands to lift it out of the tank, about 16" across, thing weighs a ton with all the water, front and back, size huge

Last piece, front and back, black stuff on right side was a sponge I needed to take off, size large
