Sofar, we have covered the material of chapter 1, section 1 (but see also the
discussion of the spin-1/2 example on pages 26-28; I did that example in
more detail in class, but did not discuss the instructive analogy with
polarized light on pages 6-10), sections 2 through 7; chapter 2, sections
1, 2 (except the final subsection on pp. 87-89), 3, 4 (I discussed the
WKB approximation in much more detail; see for instance the book by Griffiths
listed in the syllabus), chapter 3, sections 1, 2, some elements of section 3,
sections 5, 6, 7, 10, chapter 4, section 2 (read also section 1).
