  • INTERMEDIATE GRADES and MIDTERM SCORES
    Intermediate grades have been calculated based on 1/3 homework and 2/3 midterm, and are estimates only. They are listed by your SFSU student ID, followed by the score on the midterm (out of a maximum of 50). The average grade is a B; the average on the midterm was 38 out of 50 points, maximum 46, minimum 22.

  • FINAL (take home) will be made available on Dec. 11, and will be due on December 18, before 6 pm in my mailbox in the department office. No exceptions -- (parts of) final exams which are late will not be graded!
    The final will consist of a number of problems similar to the homework problems, and it covers the material we covered from chapters 1 through 13 of the textbook. You may use the textbook, your own notes, including your homework assignments and solution sets that have been handed out. You may not use any other material, and you may not consult with anyone about the exam.
