Laboratory Materials

You will need to bring the following materials, beginning with the second lab meeting.

1. A Hard Bound Lab Notebook, square-ruled, for recording lab work. National #43-591 and #53-108 or Roaring Spring #77475 are good.

2. General Physics Lab Manual – Phys 112 & 122, Sold in the bookstore and bundled with the
Walker textbook for the lecture course. Older editions will not be adequate.

3. A Calculator with statistical functions.

4. A Ruler. A clear one works best.

5. A Glue stick.

6. Might be helpful: “Excel Spreadsheet Basics for College Students” by J. Orenberg; available in Chemistry textbook section of the bookstore.
