Problem Set 5a: HTML and PowerPoint

Problem 1. Make yourself a web page, with the following:

• Splash page ~/public_html/index.html with your name and a link to ~/public_html/courses/courses.html.
• In courses.html, make a link to ~/public_html/courses/490/490.html
• Put a cool picture on 490.html, and a link to ~/public_html/courses/490/gammabanger/gammabanger.html . Of course, gammabanger may not be the name you will choose, especially if your first experiment measured the speed of light.
• Gammabanger.html should be a first start at a web page on your first experiment.

Problem 2. Make a PowerPoint presentation on your first experiment. Put it in the directory ~/courses/490/gammabanger. This is just meant to be a sort of content-less template for the real presentation which you will give on March 30. It should have:

• Slide 1: Title and list of collaborators
• Slide 2: Outline of topics
• Slide 3: A riveting, inspiring, sexy picture of your experiment.

Please have these finished by Sunday evening, March 14.
