Special Problem 1. Consider the quantum-mechanical description of the hydrogen atom, with states described by the quantum numbers n, l, ml, and ms.

Special Problem 2. Consider the so-called "hydrogenic atom" consisting of a helium atom with one of its electrons completely removed. Calculate the energy of the state of this one-electron system with n = 2.
