Midterm #1 will be held on Wednesday, July 16, during usual class time (10:45 am - 11:55 am). The exam will cover Chapters 1-3, specifically the material covered on Homework's 1-3. Some material from Homework 4 will be included as well; the material from Homework 4 that could be tested on the midterm is identified at the beginning of the assignment. No books or notes are allowed on this exam. Please bring a calculator. No scantrons or exam booklets are required, just a writing instrument, calculator, and your own physics knowledge.
