Course
Syllabus
Final Exam will be held on Thursday, May 22nd, from 8:00am to
10:30am in our usual classroom (SCI 210). The final exam will be
structured much like the midterm exams, with a
few multiple-choice conceptual questions followed by numerical problems.
No notes or textbooks are allowed on the exam, though a formula sheet will
be provided (Formula
sheet is available
here). Please bring a calculator, though not one that is part of a
cellular phone.
The exam will cover all material for the entire course; there will
however be a stronger emphasis on the material covered since the last
exam (springs, simple harmonic motion, fluids and thermodynamics).
Results for Midterm #2 have been posted outside my office door (TH 314),
and solutions for the exam have been posted on the first floor of Thornton
Hall, across from the Physics 112 lab room (TH 118). You may pick up your
exams from me during finals' week by appointment.
