A grade of 4 or 5 in AP Calc A/B or the A/B subpart of B/C will be accepted as a prerequisite for Phys 220. Students who achieve a lower score are encouraged to take Math 226, or they will not be allowed to take Phys 220 until they have completed Math 227 with a grade of C or better.

Non-major courses

Both of the new AP physics 1 and 2 exams, each with a score of 4 or 5, will be needed to get credit for Phys 111. No credit is given for Phys 112. No credit is given for Phys 121/122.

Since Physics labs are highly impacted, anyone who needs to take Phys 222 or Phys 112 without the lecture will need to take these courses in summer session.
