The SFSU Observatory houses four telescopes and is open to the public two nights per week during the fall and spring semesters, weather permitting.  Please note that the Observatory is closed on weekends, school holidays and during finals week. 

We are now closed for the Summer.  We  may open the observatory for a few nights this summer to the public.  Check back in July for updates.

The SFSU observatory is sometimes known as SOUFA (Stonestown Observatory for Ultra-Foggy Astronomy).  Note: Please dress warmly! The roof can be quite windy and cold.
