The SFSU Observatory houses four telescopes and is open to the public two nights per week during the fall and spring semesters, weather permitting.  Please note that the Observatory is closed on weekends, school holidays and during finals week.

We are now closed for the Summer.  We  may open the observatory for a few nights this summer to the public.  Check back in July for updates.

We are also excited about the possibility of a robotic telescope becoming a reality next year.  If you would like to support or sponsor this exciting resource that would reach thousands of students, please contact Tim Brothers at (415) 338-6164.

Free and open to all students, staff, and the public.
