Hello Roger,

The Spring semester was really my first semester as a grad 
student here.  Classes, teaching and my family kept me quite busy during the 
semester!  But now the summer is here and I'm looking forward to doing some 
good research.  I'm working with Imke de Pater.  Right now I'm reducing some 
infrared images of the faint rings (E and G) of Saturn, obtained at Keck 
during the 1995 ring plane crossing.   In June I will begin work on Adaptive 
optics images of Uranus.  Our group plans to put a spectrograph behind the AO 
system to hopefully obtain a somewhat resolved spectrum of the atmosphere.

I hope to visit one of these days.

Please send my regards to everyone there in the department.  Berkeley is very 
nice but I miss you all!
