INTERMEDIATE GRADES and MIDTERM SCORES
Intermediate grades have been calculated based on 1/3 homework and 2/3 midterm,
and are estimates only. They are listed by your SFSU student ID, followed by the
score on the midterm (out of a maximum of 50). The average grade is a B+; the average
on the midterm was 41 out of 50 points, maximum 49, minimum 31.

Sofar, we have covered the material of chapter 1, section 1 (but see also the
discussion of the spin-1/2 example on pages 26-28; I did that example in
more detail in class, but did not discuss the instructive analogy with
polarized light on pages 6-10), sections 2 through 7, chapter 2, sections
1 through 4 (I discussed the WKB approximation in much more detail;
see for instance the book by Griffiths listed in the syllabus),
chapter 3, sections 1, 2, elements of section 3, 5, 6, 7, 10,
chapter 4, sections 1, 2, 3, chapter 5, sections 1, 2, 3 (only van der Waals),
