SCI 101 Syllabus

Required Textbook: Keys to Science Success by Janet Katz, Prentice Hall-Publisher, 2000 edition.

All classes meet on Saturdays in Knuth Hall in the Creative Arts Building at 9am. Afternoon sessions will be held in Science 201, 210 and 101. Reading assignments must be complete BEFORE coming to class. There will be a 10 min break in the morning and afternoon with a 30 min lunch.

ATTENDENCE is MANDATORY! The class may be taken CR/NR.

Grades will be based on attendance and a final research project due on the final class day.

NOTE: The Basic Information Competence Requirement (OASIS) must be completed by November 11 in order to pass Science 101!!! For more information go to: http://oasis.sfsu.edu/.
